Buybacks:

Our most common complaint is lost, missing, or damaged books sent in via the USPS. The USPS is great with letters and bills, but heavy textbooks are not the norm for them. That is why our default method is FedEx Ground, which comes with $100 of insurance per label. If you must ship via USPS, please purchase the optional insurance for your package.

Do not send in a damaged item, an item that is not the same as the one you quoted, or an item that you did not quote, as they won’t be returned. It’s a bad situation for everyone, so use the form on the right to contact us with any questions before you ship it.
When in doubt, don’t ship it out!

A lot of books have similar titles and covers. To make sure you are quoting the correct book, please use the ISBN listed on the copyright page of your book. Books without a copyright page are not accepted and not returned.
Orders:
-
Make sure your address is correct when creating your account and submitting your order. An invalid address – even one with just a small error – may cause your order to be declined by your credit card company or cause the shipment to be lost or delivered to someone else. Please double-check your complete address: your name on the name field, your street address on Address Line 1, any Apartment, Suite, Dorm number or other identifying info on Address Line 2 (but not a second, different address or directions like “Look out for mean cat”), and make sure your City, State, and Zip Code match your billing address.

We sell many different versions of some textbooks – US Student, Instructor’s, International Student, and eBooks. Make sure you are getting the one you want before you submit the order.
-
We strive to ship orders placed before 2PM EST on the same business day, but during our busy seasons, warehouse processing can take a couple of days – add that time to the shipping method estimate to determine when your books should arrive.
Rentals:
-
Rentals are a great way to save money on textbooks you won’t need to keep. Rentals are pulled from our available inventory, but may be a US Student, International, Instructor’s edition. The text will be the same for each version, but the cover may be different and there may be added materials.
-
A rental has to be returned to us in time to rent out for the next term. This means that they must be shipped and “In-Transit” by the due date on your rental order. This due date is shown on-screen at the time you place the order, and is available on your account at any time during the rental period.
-
Rentals need to be returned to us in usable condition. This is the foundation of the Rental Agreement, but every year we have quite a few people who think this part is optional. It is not. If your books is damaged, lost, abducted, or, maybe, goes for swim at the pool party at the Dean’s house when he was out of town, we still need a good copy of that book. Contact us with any issues, and we’ll give you some direction. Ignoring the issue could lead to you being sent to Collections, which we all want to avoid.
